I was googling qipao online and stumbled onto your blog. I find your site absolutely entertaining and interesting. I just want to add my bit on the return to the Bride’s home on the 3rd day.

My mother actually told me not to do that as we can do the tea ceremony on the same day. Also because my fiance and I live in a different province now, it would not make any sense for us to fly back just for that ceremony. I like your idea about sending over the pig roast though.

FYI, my wedding is still 2 years away (September 3, 2011). But because we don’t live at home anymore, I have to start organizing the wedding early.
