Free Book Offer At Inkubook

I had recently found out that Inkubook, an online book making website, is having a free book offer. Here’s the information from their website:

  1. Sign up with Inkubook and start making your free digital scrapbook.
  2. Using the “Invite Friends” feature, invite someone to join Inkubook and submit a few photos/page designs to include in your book. Inkubook will send them a promotion code to use for a free digital scrapbook.
  3. When you’re finished with your free digital scrapbook, enter this promotion code at checkout: KNT833. You pay only shipping charges to receive your free book. (Basic shipping options are $6.99 for Media Mail and $8.99 for Standard Ground.)

I haven’t had a chance to try out the book making at Inkubook yet. But from reading through the website, it seems that you can make the book online via a plug in that you download for your browser. You can then upload your photos, choose the layout and work on it online. Since it the book making part is web based, you can also invite others to collaborate on a project together. This works will for Al and I since we don’t have to pass each other photos from our computer and can just upload it to share for the same project.

I’ve been swamped with work lately so hopefully I’ll get a chance to test this out. If you do give it a try, I would love to hear your feedback.

Cool, I might just give this a try. Jan, you need to post more often!! :)

Hi Xiaobee!

I wanted to post more often too but work had been busy. Hopefully I can get a couple of posts up this week.

On a side note. Al have completed an Inkubook layout and we’re going to publish it to try out their service. Will post more when the book arrives.

Did you work on the Inkubook offline? Does it allow that option? Shipping to Canada is expensive…$14.99 though!

[...] browsed through some dresses for the bridesmaids. Also incase you don’t read my other blog, Inkubook is having a free book offer. I just made mine to test out their service. The book should be here in 2-3 [...]

Did you find inkubook easy to use? I signed up for it today but can’t figure out how to add pages or move pages around after they’re set. The free book can be up to 120 pages?

Hi xiaobee,

Sorry for the late reply. I’ve been quite busy with work lately. I was told the free book can be up to 120 pages.

As I didn’t have much time to play around with Inkubook, Al was the one that did the layout for us. I only got to test their interface which I have to admit was a bit confusing in the beginning. I’ll check with Al about moving pages, but adding pages should be the “+” on the right side bar I believe.

It looks like the free book can be up to 120 pages…how many pages was yours? Have you received it yet??
