Our Wedding Bands

We purchased our wedding bands about 2 months after we got engaged. As you can see we were both pretty eager to get married! However with the wedding postpone from 2009 to 2011, it was almost three years later that we finally got to put these wedding bands on each other. Luckily it still fit us! We got the wedding bands from Luk Fook at Aberdeen Centre, Richmond. The cost at the time (this is back in 2008) for the platinum bands were approximately $800 for both.

We had decided to choose a band with a simply design and one without any diamonds. My camera isn’t very good and couldn’t zoom in to get a picture of the crosshatching details on the wedding band. The crosshatching design gives it a bit of a matted look which we both liked.

Here’s another shot of the rings:

We’re both not used to having the ring on our finger so we usually take it off when we’re home and only wears it when we go out. I’m not a fan of wearing jewelry so I also take off my engagement rings when I’m at home. How long did it take you to get use to having the ring(s) on your finger?

My head is full of engagement rings, this post has returned my sanity :)

I wear my engagement ring all the time!

I love your blog, I’m a Chinese girl marrying a non-Chinese man and your blog gives me great ideas to think about what I should incorporate into our wedding.

Thank you so much!
